Don has been actively involved in East Texas real estate for over 30 years. He is a 1978 graduate of The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Business Administration and a major in Finance. In addition to his lengthy career in the commercial real estate business, Don has served on numerous community boards and committees such as the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors where he served as Director for four years, the National Association of Realtors, and the Texas Association of Realtors where he also served as Director for four years.
Don has also been actively involved with the Tyler Economic Development Council, has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce, and has been awarded Realtor Associate of the Year for the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors.
He has been instrumental in the successful development of some of the largest real estate projects in Tyler and Longview. This includes over 65 acres in Tyler’s South Broadway retail corridor, another 65 acres in Tyler’s Grande-Old Jacksonville area, and substantial development in the Troup Highway corridor.
Price joined Simmons Real Estate following a career with UBS where he obtained his Series 7 and Series 66 licensing while managing assets for both private and institutional clients. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a graduate from the TCU Ranch Management Program.
Price is a member of the Texas Association of Realtors and an active member of First Christian Church of Tyler. He is also a member of Delta Waterfowl Board and Lifetime Member of the Eagle Scout Association.
Jim Daughtry, a Tyler native, has been active in Texas real estate since 1969. A graduate from Stephen F. Austin University with a bachelors degree in business administration, he returned after college and started his real estate career. Jim co-owned and operated a brokerage firm for 32 years, managing a sales staff of 15-25 agents and countless real estate transactions. Jim joined Simmons Real Estate in 2007 where he brings his vast knowledge and experience to bear for clients.
Jim is proud to have served on the Board of Directors at the East Texas Food Bank for over 10 years. He was President of the Board in 2005 and will serve as president again in 2011. He has also been actively involved with the Tyler Chamber of Commerce, and Tyler Board of Realtors where he served as President.
Mary Burch grew up in Tyler, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a BBA in Marketing in 1980. For 20 years, Mary sold data processing and POS transaction services to financial institutions and major retailers for EDS, Hewlett Packard, and ACS (now Xerox Corporation).
She and her husband of 28 years, Henry Burch, moved back to Tyler in 2009, and Mary is now a commercial agent for Simmons Real Estate. Mary’s other interests and affiliations are:
